BURNS FATAL TO YOUTH SUNDAY.
George Herbert Daniel, 14, died Sunday morning in the Baird-Brewer General Hospital of burns he feceived when the DANIEL farm home near Unionville was destroyed by fire Friday night. He was attempting to rekindle a low fire with kerosene when the container exploded. He is survived by his parents, Mr. & Mr. Alvin G. Daniel; brother, Wesley O'Neal Daniel, Halls; sister, Shirley Daniel, Halls. Services were held Sunday at Curve Baptist Church, burial in Crossroads Cem., Curve.

NEWBERN - Mildred Lorene Daniel, 78, died Monday at Parkview Hospital in Dyersburg. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Halls (Tenn.) Funeral Home with burial in Cross Roads Cemetery near Ripley. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Newbern. Mrs. Daniel, the widow of Alvie George Daniel, leaves a daughter, Shirley Jean Lawson of Fowlkes; two sons, Wesley O'Neal Daniel of Illinois and Alvie Wayne Daniel of Newbern; two brothers, James Odis Richardson of Gary, Ind., and Joel Richardso n of Dyersburg, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
