LOIS
'KATHLEEN' LONDON KOONCE LITTLES, 77, of Halls, Tenn., formerly of Memphis, retired teacher for
Craigmont High School and the old Gregg School. She died Sunday December 7, 2003 at Saint Francis
Hospital in Memphis. Services were at 1 p.m. December 11, 2003 at Halls Funeral Home with burial
in Halls Cemetery. Her mother Alice Cates Smith London Olds and her father Luther Guy London precede
her as well as her older brother Fletcher Smith. She leaves behind two daughters, Susan Koonce
Adams of Memphis and Valarie Jean Koonce of Atlanta; three sisters, Laura Frances Smith Domn of
Battle Creek, MI., Lucille Smith Raines Crews of Nashville and Laudeen London Ammons of Bartlett;
two brothers, Birtus Smith and Bobby Smith, both of Nashville, a granddaughter, Stephanie McStay
and a great-grandson, Vaughn Henry “Hank” McStay of Memphis and a companion, Don Poindexter
of Tunica, MS.
She was a member of Leawood Baptist Church in Memphis, and Treasurer of the Lauderdale County Historical Society. She participated in the Granny Hula Dancers |
