Robert Eugene Lewis, 63, retired factory worker for Heckel-Thorne of Dyersburg, died Sunday at Methodist Hospital of Dyersburg after a stroke. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Halls Funeral Home with burial in Greenhill Memorial Gardens. He was a Methodist.

Mr. Lewis, the husband of Maurica Etta Lovelace Lewis, also leaves a stepdaughter, Mary Scabet of Ripley; three stepsons, David Watts, Jackie Watts and Tommy Watts, all of Halls; his mother, Arlene Slagle of Waterloo, Iowa; two sisters, Carol Andrews and Marilyn Workman, both of Fort Myers, Fla., nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
