Grace Era Knox, 95, homemaker, died of respiratory arrest Sunday at Covington Care Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Halls Funeral Home with burial in Greenhill Memorial Gardens Cemetery. She was a charter member of Williams Chapel Baptist Church in the Poplar Grove Community near Halls.

Mrs. Knox, the widow of Ira L. Knox, leaves a daughter, Mary Orwig of Rosemark; three sons, Hollis Knox of Dyersburg, Bill Knox of San Antonio, Texas, and James Knox of Millington; three sisters, Melba Watkins, Gladys Brandon and Louise Vawter, all of Halls, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
