The boy was DOA at Lauderdale County Hospital. No charges against the driver.

Mrs. Mattie Irvin WEBB, 60, sister of George ERVIN and Manson ERVIN, both of Ripley, died Saturday in Haywood County Hospital in Brownsville. Services were Sunday in Brownsville Funeral Home, burial in Concord Cemetery. She was a nurse. She leaves her daughters, Mrs. Frances FORSYTHE, of Brownsville and Mrs. Rebecca KIRKPATRICK, of Adrian, Mich.; another brother, Claude ERVIN, of Halls; and her sister, Mrs. Maudie PARKER, of Covington.

John S. WILKERSON, 60, formerly of Ripley, died Tuesday of last week in John Gaston Hospital, Memphis. Services were Wednesday of last week in Maplewood Cemetery. Born in Louisville, Ky., he moved to Memphis from Lauderdale County 20 years ago. He leaves a number of relatives including a son, John S. WILKERSON, a former employee of the Enterprise.
