Hazel Ruth Jaynes, 88, died Monday at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Ripley. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Halls, where she was a member, with burial in Greenhill Memorial Gardens near Halls. Halls Funeral Home has charge.

Mrs. Jaynes, the widow of Moody Jaynes, leaves three daughters, Frances Jaynes of Halls, Rebecca Freeman and Lucille Jackson, both of Hobart, Ind.; a half-sister, Nell Davis Archer of Ripley, 17 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
