Viola Hoggard, 82, died Saturday morning at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Ripley. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Halls Funeral Home with burial in Green Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery. She was a member of Halls First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Hoggard, widow of Earl Hoggard, leaves a daughter, Lois Goodman of Lobelville; two sons, Earl Hoggard of Germantown and Douglas Hoggard of Ripley; two sisters, Lucille England and Virginia Alston, both of Halls, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren.
