| Herman Rhodes, 64, Lightfoot farmer, died at 2 a.m. last Friday in his home. Services were at 3 p.m. Saturday in Ripley Funeral Home. Burial was in Lauderdale County Memorial Gardens. He was a member of Lightfoot Methodist Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Lorene Midyett Rhodes; a son, John William Rhodes, of Ripley; a daughter, Mrs. Bobby Vowell, of Memphis; a brother, Cleve Rhodes, of New York, N. Y., a half brother, Wes Powell, of Ripley; two step-brothers, Nat Grammer, of Ripley,and Marvin Grammer,of Memphis; a step-sister, Mrs.Eunice Black, of Ripley, and three grandchildren. |
