Tommy Henson, 70, of Henning, retired farmer, died Tuesday of last week in Baptist Hospital Lauderdale. Rites were Friday in Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home in Covington, with burial in Grace Cemetery. He was born Oct. 30, 1935. He leaves a son, Cliff "Bubba" Henson, of Covington; eight daughters, Connie Stone and Tammi Powell, of Henning, Michelle Spray and Priscilla Ammons of Ripley, Janie Patterson, of Milan, Shelia Emmertt, of Little Rock, Ark. and Melinda Henson and Susan Delong, of Toledo, Ohio; brothers, Gary, of Sevierville, and Don of Blytheville, Ark; sisters, Janice Nichols, of Memphis, Shirley Gallassini of Centralia Ill., Betty Wynn, of Milan, Tex., Debra Dyre and Patty Whittenburg, of Bangs, Tex., and Pam Stevens, of Brownfield, Tex., 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
