Genevieve Elizabeth Hartsfield, 74, retired clothing factory employee, died of heart failure Sunday at Ripley Health Care. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Greenhill Memorial Gardens. Halls Funeral Home has charge. She was a member of Paris Baptist Church.

Mrs. Hartsfield, the widow of James Hartsfield, leaves five stepdaughters, Liddie Butler of Carbondale, Ill., Patricia Nelson of Ripley, Frances Hutcherson of Halls, Shirley Boyd of Byhalia, Miss., and Kathy Siglow of Big Sandy; two stepsons, James Hartsfield of Halls and Carl Hartsfield of Big Sandy; a stepsister, Marion Swanger of Pennsylvania; two stepbrothers, Herb Smith of Hershey, Pa., and Dave Smith of Pa., 22 stepgrandchildren, 25 stepgreat-grandchildren and a stepgreat-great-grandchild.
