Linda Lee Vowell Hansford, 58, homemaker, died of cancer Tuesday at her home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with burial in Greenhill Memorial Gardens in Halls.

Mrs. Hansford, the wife of Ed Hansford, also leaves a daughter, Brenda Hendrix of Fowlkes; two sons, Ronnie Smith of Dyersburg and Richard Smith of Friendship; her mother, Willie Vowell of Halls; a sister, Sue Williams of Bremen, Ala.; a brother, Darrell Vowell of Thousand Oaks, Calif., and six grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.
