Earl Davis, 85, retired farmer, of Gates, died Saturday in his home. Services were at 2 p.m. Monday in Halls Funeral Home, Burial in Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Halls.

He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Rosetta Spry, of Friendship, and Mrs. Katherine Stewart and Mrs. Dorothy Olds, both of Indianapolis, Ind.; six sons, Earl, Harold, Paul, and William Davis, all of Indianapolis, Spence Davis, of Gates, and James Davis, of Bells; and a sister, Mrs Mary Bryan, of Halls.
