23 Mar 1928 – After a lingering illness of almost ten years, Mrs. Martha Ann Dailey died Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Tom Sid Moore, with whom she was making her home. She was 72 years of age, a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church, a true Christian, a kind and loving wife and mother, and was loved by all who knew her. She leaves a husband and two children, Mr. Jesse Dailey of Halls and Mrs. Tom Moore of Double Bridges; also two brothers and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Salisbury of Ripley Saturday at 3:30 o’clock. Burial was at Halls cemetery. A NIECE
