Freddie B. Chipman, 83, farmer, died Saturday of cardiac arrest at Methodist Hospital of Dyersburg. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Greenhill Memorial Gardens. Halls Funeral Home has charge. He was a World War II Army veteran, having been a prisoner of war in Germany, and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Williams Chapel Baptist Church. Mr. Chipman, the husband of Dorsey Sears Chipman, also leaves a daughter, Karen Nichols of Memphis; a son, Mike Chipman of Louisville, Ky.; three sisters, Nell Johnson and Noris Weaver, both of Ripley, and Demetra Daniels of Gates; a brother, J. F. Chipman of Ripley, and two grandchildren. |
