| Willie Carmack Simpson, 67, of 4016 Bayliss, retired carpenter, died Thursday at Oakville Health Care Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Memphis Funeral Home on Union with burial in Lauderdale County Memorial Gardens in Ripley, Tenn. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Beatrice Dotson Simpson; eight daughters, Mrs. Louise Stephens of Henning, Tenn., Mrs. Martha Gilbert , Mrs. Brenda McElwain, Mrs. Beatrice Roberts, Mrs. Charlotte Nance, Mrs. Becky Birmingham and Mrs. Marilyn Birmingham, all of Memphis, and Mrs. Wilene Polk of Byhalia, Miss.; a son W. C. Simpson, Jr. of Memphis; two brothers, Elton Simpson and Jim Simpson, both of Ripley; 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. |
