Mitchell Campbell, 76, retired employee of Tupperware in Halls, died of cancer Thursday at his home. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Halls Funeral Home with burial in Greenhill Memorial Gardens there. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Halls. He was also a World War II Army veteran and served in the Africa and European Theaters.

Mr. Campbell, the husband of Mary Elizabeth Bryan Campbell, also leaves three daughters, Brenda Holt and Diane Smith, both of Halls, and Mary Ann Johnson of Ripley; two sons, James Campbell of Ripley and Danny Campbell of Halls; two sisters, Ruby Stanford of Huntingdon and Beatrice Manning of Milan; a brother, Thomas Campbell of Huntingdon, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
