Sylvia Inez Burns, 93 of Halls, TN, died Tuesday (5-21-13) in the Ripley Healthcare And Rehab. Born in Halls, TN, she was the daughter of the late H. C. "Cornelius" and the late Pearl Thurmond Moore. She was a Homemaker and farmer. Survived by one daughter: Sylvia Jean Gray of Halls, TN and one son: Thomas "Lynn" Burns of Halls, TN. Predeceased by her Husband, Mose Tommie Burns, daughter, Betty Jane Burns, three brothers, Laverne Moore, Monroe and Elmus Moore, who both died in early childhood, 4 Sisters, Trucella Spence, Vera Thurmond, Fredonia Kirby, Nita Caseo, Grandchildren: Donald Reece, Brad Burns, Michelle Clark and Daniel Gray. Funeral service will be held Friday (5-24-13) at 2:00 pm at Halls Funeral Home, Halls TN. Interment will be Friday in Concord Cemetery, Gates.
