Betty Jane Burns Betty Jane Burns, 19 month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tommie Burns of the Nankipoo community, died Sunday shortly after midnight at the Dyersburg Hospital from injuries received at her home when her cousin backed a car over her fracturing her skull. The little girl was playing in the yard when the accident occurred. Funeral services were held at the Curve Methodist Church Sunday afternoon with the Rev. E. E. Thurmond officiating. Burial will be in the Concord cemetery with Evans, Lesser and Garner in charge. Besides her parents, she leaves one brother, Thomas Lynn Burns and sister Sylvia Jean Burns. |
