NEW YORK WRECK Funeral services mourning Airman Third Class Larry Wayne COLLINS, Air Force Institute of Technology student at Syracuse, N. Y., who met death in an auto accident there Friday night, were held Wednesday at Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church, burial in church Cemetery. Airman COLLINS, 18, was born in Brownsville and graduated from Ripley High School last spring. In the class portrait, his photograph was side by side with that of Donald CROOK, son of Mr. & Mrs. Alvis CROOK, of Lightfoot, who was killed a week before Airman COLLINS, when his truck overturned near Gates. Airman COLLINS leaves his mother, Mrs. Willie Mae WIMBERLY, of Ripley.

Death Last rites for Mrs. Alice TURNER CUNNINGHAM, of Memphis, who was born in Ripley, were held Tuesday aty National Funeral Home, burial in Mary's Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. CUNNINGHAM, 77, died Sunday while visting her son, Edward F. CUNNINGHAM in Memphis. She had nine children, seven of whom survive:three other sons, Harold B. CUNNINGHAM and Turner W. CUNNINGHAM, both of Memphis, William M. CUNNINGHAM, of Slayden, MS and Thomas H. CUNNINGHAM, of Nashville; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur H. CURTIS of Lamar, MS and Mrs Pride R. RAGGERTY, of Memphis; two brothers, Hubert TURNER, of Kirkland, WA, and R. H. TURNER, of Blytheville, AR; and 1 sister, Mrs. Montine CORCORAN, of Memphis.

Born at Forked Deer, son of the late Joseph Albert ESCUE and Mrs. Mamie Lee STANLEY ESCUE, he moved to Lauderdale County in 1917. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Maggie HUNT ESCUE; two sons, Joe Turner ESCUE, of Golddust and Paul Hunt ESCUE, of Memphis; two daughters, Mrs. Llyod WHITE, of Memphis and Mrs. Milo H. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Annie Lynn ESKRIDGE; four sons, Robert ESKRIDGE of St. Louis, MO, John M. ESKRIDGE, of Lawrenceburg, Charles ESKRIDGE and Lynn ESKRIDGE, both at home; one daughter, Mrs. Margaret WHITE, of Halls; his mother, Mrs. Gertrude ESKRIDGE, of Halls; three sisters, Mrs. J. H. She leaves four sons, Arch GOOCH, Charlie GOOCH, Arthur GOOCH, and Sidney GOOCH, all of Halls; one daughter, Mrs. Paul HURT, of Memphis.

She was 77 years, died Wednesday in Lauderdale County Hospital. Her husband, George GUILTNER, died many years ago. She leaves a son, Franklin GUILTNER of Jonesboro, AR ; two daughters, Mrs. Alice RIGGS of Yakima, WA and Mrs. Carl Conrad of Luckett; one half-brother, Thomas DUKE of Ripley; and one half-sister, Mrs. Talmadge CHISHOLM of Arp.

MRS. CASSIE WILSON HARGETT After many patient years of suffering, our loved one, Mrs. Cassie Wilson HARGETT, quietly passed away on Nov. 1, 1958, just four days before her 79th birthday. The fact that her family, her home, her relatives, her friends, and her church where she served as Sunday school teacher for many years made up her whole world, is a glowing tribute to the life she lived. She leaves her companion, E. D. HARGETT; two daughters, and a son-in- law, Velora HARGETT, Cleo and Paul McBRIDE; two granddaughters, Mrs. Evelyn McBRIDE STEWART, of Jackson and Mrs. Martha McBRIDE CORLEW of Nashville; three great-grandsons; one brother, A. A. WILSON. George, Arthur, Leon, and Lynn HARGETT, Woodrow WILSON and Leslie HAMBY served as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were N. N. CALDWELL, E. R. UNDERWOOD, J. E. COOK, Capt. Alex RANNY, L. A. McBRIDE and Paul WILLIAMS. Her pastor, the Rev. Pittman MARBURY, held memorial services at New Hope Methodist Church. Interment was in Grace Cemetery.

Mr. HARPER, 65, died Monday at his home near Milan. Born in Lewis County, moved to Gibson County in 1914. Leaves his wife; three sons; seven daughters; five sisters; 19 grandchildren and one great- grandchild.

She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Alma DAVIS, of Memphis, Mrs. Harold RICHARDSON and Mrs. Sanford QUEEN, both of San Antonia, Texas; one son, Frank HARPER, of Huntsville, AL.

He died Monday night at Baptist Hospital, Memphis, after a long illness. He moved to Dyersburg 31 years ago. he leaves his wife, Mrs. Effie Ola HENDREN; four sons, George M. A telegram was received Wednesday morning by Mrs. Aleta BORDERS and Miss Magnolia COUGHLAN, informing them of the death of their sister, Mrs. Barton JONES, 54, the former Ruby Nell COUGHLAN, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Tuesday night. The JONES had resided there 12 years. Besides her husband and sisters, she leaves four sons (not named); and two brothers, A. J. COUGHLAN and Howard Ward COUGHLAN.

Mrs. Elnora Victoria KELTNER, a native of Ripley, the widow of Cecil U. KELTNER, died Friday at Baptist Hospital, Memphis. She was 82. Her husband, a widely known builder, died in 1953. She leaves three sons, Cecil G. KELTNER, Russell K. PRICE and Harold O'Neal PRICE; her brother, Dr. T. B. KELTNER, all of Memphis; three sisters, Mrs. Bob WEAVER, of Memphis, Mrs. R. C. MORRIS and Mrs. E. L. GRAMMER, both of Ripley. Services were held Sunday at National Funeral Home, burial in Memorial Park.

Friday in Lauderdale County Hospital, which he entered the preceeding day. He was born in Bee Branch, AR and had lived in this county 25 years. He was a member of Woodville Baptist Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Alice Leona LOVELL SMITH; two sons, Jesse L. Mr. WALKER was seriously injured. They were bound to Little Rock to visit their son, Empson WALKER, Jr., . Another son , Davis Chambers WALKER, who married the daughtr of Mr. and Mrs. John Fields CAMPBELL, of Rpley, resides in Stillwater, OK. The WALKER's daughter, Mrs. George C. JACKSON, lives in Jackson. Services were held Sunday in the First Methodist Church, Brownsville, burial in Oakwood Cemetery.

CRASH FATAL FOR MRS. WANDLER, Mrs. Zelma Mae WANDLER, of Curve, died Sunday in Campbell's Clinic, Memphis, Memphis, a week after being injured in a three way crash on Highway 51. Services were held Monday at Curve Baptist Church, burial in Oldfield Cemetery in Crockett County. A native of Crockett County, she had resided in Lauderdale County 25 years. She leaves her husband; one son, David H. FUSSELL, of Bells; two brothers, Dan VIA, of Bells, and Reddick VIA, of Gleason.
