I am looking for information on Nellie (REED) DAVIS, wife of Wesley DAVIS and daughter of William and Susan REED. I'm trying to place Nellie as born on White Oak Mtn, Ham. Co, in 1818, and how her family arrived there. I have some info I'm not sure of, that places her parents on the 1817 reservation roll on the Tuckaseegee River, NC. Nellie DAVIS was the mother of Jane WOLFE, who was mother of Francis Meredith WOLFE, father of Estella (WOLFE) MURPHY of Bradley Co, my ggrandmother. I think the DAVISes were from Snow Hill. Thanks, Kim
