John MARSHALL, b 1795 Hawkins Co, TN, married to Margaret LEWELLYN, had a son John Murphy "JACK" MARSHALL on Mar 8, 1821. (Need siblings of "Jack") He married Malinda Houston WEAR of Sevier Co, TN. They both lived & died in Howardville, James Co, TN. He in March 1901, both buried Antioch Cem. She died Aug 1907. I have pictures of his son John Samuel MARSHALL & family before the old "homeplace" beside the railroad. I've seen the same house still standing, very rundown. This man's daughter Kate MARSHALL married Gene SMEDLEY, who's descendents still own the property. John Murphy's children: Lavater, Alexander, Jefferson Frank, Florence, William, (have picture of Andrew) Andrew & David (twins) & Mary Jane MARSHALL (married Wm Akin CRUM - both died in Howardville.she 1893/he 1916.)

I am looking for descendants of my great grandmother Margaret or Nancy EDMONDS b. about 1852 NC, from Flat creek, Weaverville area NC. Nancy live in TN. after she married. She had three children before she got married, Chrisley EDMONDS, Samuel Harrison EDMONDS and a daughter Sarah L. EDMONDS. Samuel Harrison EDMONDS is my grandfather. I am not sure what her married name was, I have heard it could be PIERCE, PARIS, PARRIS, PARRISH.

William l. FRAZIER lived in James County in 1880 and was listed as a fisherman. He was married to Millie with sons James A. and Edward A. with wife Mary, daughter of Marion ANDERSON and Polly BEARDEN. He had two daughters Rosa J. and Delitha. The 1900 census shows WIlliam M. with Edward living next door with wife Mary.
Any informatino on this family I would appreciate.

Am looking for ancestors/birth places for Henry SHARP (b. abt 1813 in Tennessee) and Mary Pauline CAVENDER (b. abt. 1810 in North Carolina), who are my gg-grandparents. Their children were: Prior (b.abt. 1835), Elizabeth (b. abt. 1838), David Henry (b. 28 Mar 1841, Lucinda (b. abt. 1843), Grenville (b. abt. 1846), and Sarah Ann (b. 1850). I think that all of the children were born in Ooltewah and lived there until the family moved to northeast Arkansas sometime between 1840 and 1850. I would appreciate any help in my search.

I'm trying to find all the information on the ancestry of my grandpa James {Long: maybe his middle name, but may have been his mother Beaula's maiden name also.} LAMAR and my grandma Lillie Mae RUSSELL. James LAMAR was from Pulaski, Tennessee and Lillie Mae RUSSELL was from Birchwood, Tennessee.
They got married and lived in Chattanooga Tennessee til grandpa died on April 21, 1987, and grandma still lives there
