I am looking for any remaining relatives of my father, William Thomas McKINNEY. He passed away 39 years ago. His mother's name was, Bertha Odessa BUTCHER and his father's name was Rufus Lafayette McKINNEY. I know of siblings named James, Charles and Gladys, that I believe are still residing somewhere in Tennessee. Possibly in Greenville, Chattanooga or Knoxville. There are other siblings, but I remember the ones listed and have fond memories of them. "Uncle Jim, where are you? I haven't seen you since my wedding 20 years ago at Mom's house. You played guitar and sang a Dolly Parton song at my wedding. Remember? I hope you see this."
If anyone knows anything about this family or where I can reach any of them, please let me know. I need to know more about my missing family from my father's side.
Thank you for any help you can offer.

Hi, I'm looking for data on James Manuel "Manning" THOMPSON who lived in Harrison, James Co. TN in 1882, 1883 (maybe longer). His wife Sarah Matilda died abt 1888 in either James

My grandfather, Stanton STARNS, was born in Birchwood, Tennessee, on January 1, 1880 (or possibly 1879). I believe he was the son of James Henry STARNES, who was born in Tennessee around 1839. Since my grandfather was orphaned at a young age, I have little information about his family. Stanton STARNS married Lou Ann GROSS, also of Tennessee (and his brother married her sister). I would welcome any information about Stanton STARNS's family. Thank you!

Hopefully I can find someone out there in computer land that can help me locate my grandfather. His name was Charlie Baxter (SMITH) and he was born June 22, late 1890's early 1900's. His first name and middle name are correct but the last name is not his real last name. He apparently changed his last name to avoid the law. He was supposedly an escapee from a prison but we don't know which one or where. One of his daughter's (my mother) had been instructed not to question anything about him as she was growing up. Hence nothing is known. If anyone can help me locate his real name and family I would sure be grateful. All I have to go on is his birthdate (not year) and his first and middle name.
