For the really new genealogist, a Mentor will be assigned to help you, not only on the list but also in finding your way to the many excellent sources on the Internet. The list discusses genealogy, family history, computer applications, and a wide variety of other topics with a goal of assisting anyone who wants "community coaching" about the Internet, genealogy, computers, or whatever.
