Mr. Goodloe was a native of Waverly, TN, worked for the Citizen&#8217;s National Bank of Waverly, the E.I. Dupont powder plant in Nashville and for 13 years with the Nashville Banner before joining The Florida Times-Union on September 15, 1925 as a National Advertising Salesman. He succeeded J.M. Elliot as National Advertising Manager and later was named Retail Advertising Manager. He served 41 years !d of directors of the Gator Bow l Association, and a member of the Jacksonville Area Chamber of Commerce and its Committee of 100. A member of Riverside Presbyterian Church.\u00a0<strong>Mr. Goodloe<\/strong>\u00a0was preceded in death by his wife,\u00a0<strong>Elouise<\/strong>\u00a0in 1988, and is survived by his daughter,\u00a0<strong>Mrs. James O.
