Stanley Malloy\u00a0Damesworth<\/b>, 80, of Gleason died Thursday, May 1, 1997, at Volunteer General Hospital in Martin. Services for Mr. Damesworth were held Sunday, May 4, 1997, at Gallimore Funeral Home Chapel in Gleason. Burial was held in Ebenezer Cemetery in New Johnsonville, Tennessee. Bro. Ray Winsted and Steve Walker were the officiating ministers.<\/p>\n
Mr.\u00a0Damesworth<\/b>\u00a0was a retired farmer.He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Gleason.He was born october 10, 1916 in Waverly,Tennessee. Mr.\u00a0Damesworth\u00a0<\/b>is proceded in death by three children; Grady\u00a0Damesworth<\/b>,Petie\u00a0Damesworth<\/b>, RebeccaDamesworth<\/b>, parents; John Henry and Nancy Jane\u00a0Smith Damesworth<\/b>.<\/p>\n
Mr. Damesworth is survived by his wife, Bonnie Jane Jackson Damesworth, five sons; Eston Damesworth of Gleason, John Damesworth of Dyersburg, Tony Damesworth of Gleason, Jimmy\u00a0Damesworth<\/b>\u00a0of Dyersburg, five daughters; Edith\u00a0Wynn<\/b>\u00a0of Paris, Judy\u00a0Hammonds\u00a0<\/b>of Dyersburg, Linda\u00a0Tabor\u00a0<\/b>of Hayt, Missouri, Debra\u00a0Lock<\/b>\u00a0of Dyersburg, Nancy\u00a0Blevens<\/b>\u00a0of Newbern, one sister; Earlene\u00a0Chappell<\/b>\u00a0of New Johnsonville, twenty- nine grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren.<\/p>\n
