{"id":114,"date":"2013-06-01T11:15:46","date_gmt":"2013-06-01T16:15:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tngenweb.org\/humphreys\/?p=114"},"modified":"2013-06-01T11:39:10","modified_gmt":"2013-06-01T16:39:10","slug":"curtis-henry-clay-d-1992","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tngenweb.org\/humphreys\/curtis-henry-clay-d-1992\/","title":{"rendered":"CURTIS, Henry Clay (d. 1992)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Funeral services were held Thursday, Aug. 13, 1992, at Luff-Bowen Chapel for\u00a0<span style=\"font-family: 'Arial Black';\">Henry Clay Curtis\u00a0<\/span>of Waverly.\u00a0\u00a0 Mr. Curtis, 71. died Aug. 11, following a three-month illness.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Andrew Jarret<\/strong> of Waverly and <strong>Carl Long<\/strong> of McEwen officiated at the service with burial at McKeel Cemetery. Luff-Bowen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mr. Curtis<\/strong> was born in Humphreys County and was a lifelong resident. He was an Army World War II veteran, and member of Spann Church of Christ, Waverly Eastern Star, Waverly Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite Mason.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Curtis was the son of the late <strong>Robert A. and Dillie Ann Bell Curtis<\/strong>.
