Funeral services were held Sunday, December 13, 1992, at Ebenezer United Methodist Church for\u00a0Roffie Merideth Cunningham<\/b>\u00a0of New Johnsonville.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Cunningham<\/b>, 83, died Dec. 11, following an extended illness.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0Rev. Brent Davis<\/b>\u00a0of New Johnsonville officiated at the service, with burial at Ebenezer Cemetery. Luff-Bowen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Cunningham<\/b>\u00a0was born in Waverly and spent all of her life in Humphreys County. She was a retired nurses aide for Benton County Hospital, was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, and a 50-year member of Hustburg Chapter #153 Order o f the Eastern Star.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Cunningham<\/b>\u00a0was the daughter of the late\u00a0Bill and Mary Jane Davis Merideth<\/b>. She was married to the late\u00a0Jesse Flournoy Cunningham<\/b>.<\/p>\n
Survivors include a son,\u00a0James F. Cunningham<\/b>\u00a0of Camden; two daughters,\u00a0Mary Elizabeth Reeves<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0Patricia Ann McNeil<\/b>, both of New Johnsonville; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n
