The occurrence took place in descending the <\/span>Clingan<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Hill, three miles north of town. The disaster was caused by the hold-back straps breaking and allowing the vehicle to run upon the animals [sic] haunches. \u00a0<\/span><b>Mrs. C<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. was thrown from the vehicle against a stump, and was badly hurt&#8211;getting an arm broken and her face receiving some ugly cuts. She had two children with her, but fortunately their injuries were trifling. The driver, a colored man, had an arm broken, and was otherwise injured. We learn that <\/span><b>Mrs. C<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. is doing well and will recover from the injuries received.
