Houston SHAVER<\/strong> to <strong>Miss Isabella RODDY<\/strong>. \u00a0<strong>Miss RODDY<\/strong> was reared in Knox county, but moved to Arkansas with her brother, <strong>Preston RODDY<\/strong>, a few years since. \u00a0Not finding any such men out in Kackumsack as Nail&#8217;s Creek affords, she returned to the home of her youth to make her selection. \u00a0She reached Knoxville on the 11 o&#8217;clock train Saturday night, where <strong>Mr. SHAVER<\/strong>, her brother <strong>Columbus<\/strong> and a friend were waiting to welcome her and convey her to this part of the vineyard, where they were united as soon as the necessary papers could be obtained. \u00a0Only think of it! if she had been two days later it would probably all have been over before she arrived, and then!<\/p>\n<p>Nails&#8217; Creek &#8211; July 8, 1882<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Source: Blount County Democrat, 15\u00a0July\u00a01882, page 1.
