M. CROSS SR.<\/b> Piney Flats &#8211; <b>Eugene M. CROSS Sr.<\/b>, 79 of Route 1, Piney Flats, died at 1:50 a.m. Monday in Bristol Memorial Hospital. He was a life-long resident of Sullivan County and a member of the Enterprise Methodist Church. He was a retired employee of the Mead Corporation. Survivors include his widow, <b>Mrs. Mayme Mottern CROSS<\/b>; three sons, <b>J. Harold CROSS<\/b> of St. Petersburg, Fla., <b>Robert CROSS<\/b> of Corpus Christi, Tex., and <b>Eugene M. CROSS Jr.<\/b> of Boone, N.C.; two brothers, <b>H. D. CROSS<\/b> of Kingsport, <b>T. M. CROSS<\/b> of Blountville; three sisters, <b>Mrs. James H. BROWN<\/b> of Bluff City, <b>Mrs. Sally NEAL<\/b> of Blountville, and <b>Mrs. Carson WILLIAMS<\/b> of Williams Mill, Va.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><em>Source: Hawkins County Post, 4 January 1968.
