LEA, J.L. of Ripley, Shot (1875)
Ripley News: J.L. LEA, of Fulton, was on last Thursday shot, and, from all accounts, dangerously wounded, by one of his tenants named NEVINS. We understand that Mr. LEA had a deed of trust on NEVINS‘ horse, which horse NEVINS was trying to get away. Mr. LEA followed, and overtook
