PIRTLE, R.J. (Rev.) – (d. 1900)
The Rev. R.J. PIRTLE, of Jasper, Tenn., committed suicide in his church on the 6th by hanging himself with the bell rope. He was about 45 years old and leaves a wife and two children. He was laboring under mental depression.
