Paving Contractor Returns Home (1906)
Mr. T.H. LASLEY, president of the Southern Paving and Construction Company of Chattanooga, Tenn., the concern which is doing the vitrified brick paving on Elm street, returned to Chattanooga last night after spending a few days here looking over the work. It is understood that the company will deny every allegation made by the parties who brought the injunction proceedings and will endeavor to show that the work is similar to that being done by them in a dozen other cities, where it is giving entire satisfaction. The paving is continuing as rapidly as a large force can push it.
