Mrs. L.A. McConnell Visits (1882)
Mrs. L.A. McCONNELL, from Washington county, Iowa, widow of the late Isaac Wright McCONNELL, formerly of Cloyd’s Creek neighborhood in this county, after an absence of 25 years is on a visit to kindred and friends, accompanied by her son, Prof. J.J. McCONNELL. Mrs. McCONNELL is the only surviving sister of the late Mrs. D.G. WRIGHT and Mrs. J.W. KIZER.
