GLIMP, Crockett – (d. 1875)
Ripley News: We again have to chronicle another murder in our county, which occurred near Glimpville on the 17th instant, in which Crockett GLIMP was killed by James THOMPSON. The difficulty, as we learn, grew out of GLIMP’s stock trespassing on THOMPSON’s premises, of which he had notified him, but to no purpose, and has thus ended in the death of GLIMP. This is the third murder committed in our county in the last three weeks.
