Frank Jailed (1851)
Committed to the jail of Lincoln County, on Wednesday, 7th inst., a negro man named Frank. He is of black color, is about twenty five years of age, about five feet four or five inches high, is heavy built, does not speak plain, has whiskers, had on a short cassinet dark colored coat, cap of oil cloth, and white pants. He says he belongs to ROBERT CAMPBELL of Maury County, Tennessee. The owner is requested to come forward, prove property, pay charges, and take him away, or he will be dealt with as the law directs.
