Charged with Being Ku-Klux (1871)

John BODEN, Levi SMALLEY, Ira RED and James CHAPMAN, citizens of Hardeman county charged with being Ku-Klux; were tried before U.S. Commissioner GARRETT at Memphis last week, and after the examination of over 100 witnesses, the prisoners were discharged.
