BYNUM, John B. and ROBERTSON, Nannie (m. 1865)
On Sunday, December 24th, at the residence of the bride’s mother, by the Rev. Levin SAVAGE, Mr. John B. BYNUM to Miss Nannie ROBERTSON, all of this city. And thus have commenced their voyage upon the matrimonial tide on which so many bright dreams and lofty aspirations have been blasted or forever wrecked. May the star of love that has lured them on into the sacred position of husband and wife illuminate their path through life and reveal to them the beauty and sanctity of a home in which no chilling winds shall mar the tender cords that have made them one.
