Bonham Holds Fourth (1872)
BONHAM, the recitist and delineator, held forth in this place, at City Hall, on Thursday night of last week. The audience was rather small, however he gave one of his happiest entertainments, which was much applauded and praised by those who hear it. To properly appreciate Bonham you must go and hear him for yourself. His is no humbug. His is one of the best “one man shows” extant. If he should ever pass this way again our people should turn out, en masse, and hear him. (page 3, col 1)
