Aneroid Changed Hands (1872)
Maj. S. C HUMBRIGHT, of this county, became the owner of Aneroid on Saturday last, paying Col. CHEATHAM one thousand dollars for hi,. He was purchased for the purpose of making him a stock horse. He was sired by old Lexington and is one of the best bred horses in the South, and we are truly glad that it has been Bradley’s good luck to get him. (page 3, col 1).
