Henry CORY Robbed (1866)

Robbery – Henry CORY was robbed at the Clifton House in Nashville, on Monday night last, of his pocket book containing $920, and his vest, containing a fine gold watch and chain. The pocket book was taken from the pocket of his overcoat, which hung against the wall, and the vest was taken from Mr. CORY’s head.  The enterprising thief is supposed to be a good looking youth who slept in the same room, and who was missing the next morning; but about whose personal appearance nothing peculiar is remembered.
