Mrs. John Ashford Home (1894)
Mrs. John ASHFORD, of Vanderbilt University, is at home again, after a six months’ visit to England and the Continent. During her travels she visited many of the noted cathedrals and met a number of organists and composers of international reputation. Her study was devoted principally to sacred music, a class of writing in which she has already been very successful. The musical fraternity of Nashville, and also her many friends, extend her a hearty welcome home.
