Sale of Slaves of Reuben B. BERRY (1857)
Mr. John C. LANIER, Clerk and Master of the Chancery Court of Memphis, will sell this morning, at eleven o’clock, in front of his office, south side of Court Square, all the slaves belonging to the estate of Reuben B. BERRY, deceased. There are eleven slaves in number, and all are very valuable. Those who wish to purchase, would do well to be on hand at eleven o’clock this morning, at his office.
