KERR, John – Arrested (1872)

Robber Arrested — John KERR, one of the grandsons who assisted in robbing Jesse KERR, in Loudon county, some months ago, was arrested at Loudon on Saturday last.  He acknowledged his guilt, waived a preliminary examination before a justice of the peace, whereupon he was taken to Knoxville and lodged in jail for safe keeping.
