4th at Red Hill (1876)

The celebration of the 4th at Red Hill was a great success.  The day was very favorable and the attendance good.  The Declaration of Independence was read by Eld. RANDOLPH.  Addresses were then delivered by Elders Jas. JOHNSTON, Col. RAMSEY and others, all of whom were prepared fully and did the subject ample justice.  The duties of the day were promptly transacted, the best of order prevailing.

John BLACKBURN was elected President, and E.D. RAMSEY secretary of the association, for the ensuing year. Respectfully, — S.Y. PIERCE, Sec’y.
