*Sundries - miscellaneous
*Trace Chains - used to connect horse harness to a wagon
or plow
*Steelyard - a balance scale
*Single Tree - a wooden bar swung at the center from a
hitch on a plow or
wagon and hooked at either end to the traces of a
horse's harness
*Frow (froe) - a wedge-shaped cleaving tool with a
handle set into the blade
at right angles to the back
*Drawing Knife - a knife with a handle at each end,
usually at right angles
to the blade, which is drawn toward the user in shaving
a surface
*Scythe - a tool with a long single-edged blade set at
an angle on a long
curved handle used in cutting long grass or grain
*Scythe and Cradle - a frame fastened to a scythe so
that the grain can be
laid evenly as it is cut
