Mark Breen is a retired New York State Trooper.\u00a0 He acquired a 38 caliber Colt Official Police<\/a> revolver similar to those used by the New York State Police in the 1940’s and 1950’s.\u00a0 After receiving the revolver, he noticed an electric pencil engraving on the butt of the gun of “USWC” and a serial number.\u00a0 Mark was curious as to the origin of the gun so he sent off to Colt to have an archive check done on the gun.\u00a0 Colt provided documentation that the gun was part of a shipment of 69 revolvers shipped to the commanding officer of the Wolf Creek Ordnance Plant on June 5, 1942.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n
