TAYLOR, who has been very sick at his home is no better.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Mr. &amp; Mrs. John HAGERTY visited their aunt, Mrs. S. B. HARPER last week.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">LAUDERDALE COUNTY NEWS<\/span>; ENTERPRISE &#8212; Mr. John ALLISON, a young man residing in the Gaines settlement a few miles east of Ripley, died last Friday.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">LOCAL NEWS<\/span> &#8212;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">H. C. WEBB has changed his residence from Rein to Brownsville. Appropriate memorial services were held at the Methodist Church Monday afternoon, in memory of the late Mrs. C. P. EADER.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Mrs. Fannie ROBERSON, of the Eurekaton neighborhood obtained a divorce in circuit court last week from Brownlow ROBERSON. The charge alleged in the petition was desertion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Chas. H. MOODY. a former resident of this county and a nephew of Mrs. L. A. THOMAS, of this city, has recently been appointed aid-de-camp on the staff of the governor of Texas. Mr. MOODY is a resident of Sherman, Texas and saw service in the Hispano- American war.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Miss May DAVIS, aged 17 years, died at the residence of Mr. &amp; Mrs. Albert MAHANNAH last Sunday morning after a lingering illness. Her remains were carried to Cleveland, Ohio Monday morning to be buried. Deceased was a neice of Mrs. MAHANNAH and had been here about ten weeks, her mother had brought her here in December from Cleveland thinking the change would be beneficial.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Mrs. C. P. EADER, widow of the late Jonathan EADER, after a brief illness, died at the residence in this city last Friday morning in the 69th year of her age. For many years, she resided in this city, and was a woman of many attractive qualities. she leaves only one child, our fellow townsman, L. W. EADER. She was a consistant member of the Methodist church. On Friday afternoon at 3 o&#8217;clock, she was buried in Oakwood cemetery by the side of her late husband, Rev. W. W. ADAMS officiating.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">SOCIAL AND PERSONAL<\/span> &#8212;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Mr. &amp; Mrs. W. F. COVINGTON announce the marriage of their daughter, Minnie Harvey to Mr. Ed ELMORE February 18th, 1903 at 2:50 p. m. at their home on Key Corner street by Rev. W. W. ADAMS.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Mrs. John KING was called to Murphreesboro, Tenn., to the bedside of her aunt, Mrs. Martha SANFORD, a sister of Mrs. Eliza NOLEN, deceased. She will be absent about three weeks.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">CROCKETT COUNTY CLIPPINGS<\/span>: BELLS SENTINEL &#8212; Mrs. Sarah J. HAYES died last Sunday morning at the residence of her son, J. E. HAYES, of this place.
