Caradine from Inez (Mrs. Mides) Bradford, dated 18 Feb, 1940. It reads as follows (copied verbatim):

“Dear Mrs. Caradine-; We are delighted with the book, its arrangement and everything, and thank you so much for sending it. I have looked it over carefully and note several errors of little consequence you may change them if you like, I shall take them in order- On first page of the index, Bisbon (Brother)? Brother Bishop, a Chaplin mentioned in his letter, page 12, of the book. And the family name Mann, spelled Mann, Now and he spelled it so in his letter, or journal, page 14, Henry Victor Bradford, about 20 years of age, should be 24 years of age. Also on page 10, Bradford Family Bible Record, Alsey Frank Bradford, son of A. H. & Katherine Bradford, Born in Brownsville, Tennessee (No date in book) Born on 16th of September, 1918. The errors do not matter but I would like to have his birth date inserted if possible. It is my fault I didn’t give it to Mrs. Holland. and Henry Victor Bradford, Married Eileen Creech Sipple, Dau. of Mr. & Mrs. Harry B. Sipple, 4th of September, 1939, Winchester KY. If you can get that in. I am sending a dollar, for the onion shin and carbon the change to go toward the binding of that copy, I will pay the rest when I know how much it is. I do want one copy bound. I am sending records of Col. Alsey High Bradford’s wife’s family found in an older Bible if you want to have them in the book.”

(The following genealogy was also listed on same page as the above letter:)

Joab WILSON, son of William & Martha B: Abbeville District, SC – 23 Sept, 1786
Bap: near Denmark, 1825
M: Mary TILLMAN – 30 Aug, 1815 – SC, E District by Rev.
