{"id":996,"date":"2014-01-30T16:32:38","date_gmt":"2014-01-29T23:48:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tngenweb.org\/hawkins\/?p=996"},"modified":"2014-01-30T16:34:03","modified_gmt":"2014-01-30T21:34:03","slug":"price-isaac-will","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tngenweb.org\/hawkins\/price-isaac-will\/","title":{"rendered":"Will of Isaac Price"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Book 2, Page 132<br \/>\nProven:\u00a0March 2, 1874<\/p>\n<p>In the Name of God, Amen.<\/p>\n<p>I <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Isaac Price<\/span> of the County of Hawkins and State of Tennessee, being of sound mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life do therefore make ordain publish and declare this to be my last will and testament.<\/p>\n<p>That is to say,\u00a0First, after all my lawful debts are paid and discharged, the residue of my estate, real and personal, I give and bequeath dispose of as follows to wit:<\/p>\n<p>To my beloved wife <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Patsy Price<\/span> all my real estate formerly belonging to <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Catharine Price<\/span> one half (two hundred acres) and also my personal property, during her natural life and widowhood, and after her death, divided equally among my heirs, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Katharine Brooks<\/span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">John Price<\/span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">William Price<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Theopolus Price<\/span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">George Price<\/span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Isaac Price<\/span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Elizabeth Price<\/span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mary Price<\/span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Gabriel Price<\/span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">James D. Price<\/span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">H. G. Taylor Price<\/span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Manerva Price<\/span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Narcissa Price<\/span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hiram Price<\/span> also my grandson <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Isaac Brooks<\/span> to him an equal portion.<\/p>\n<p>If the said <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Isaac Brooks<\/span> remain with my wife until he is twenty one years old, as one of my own heirs, to my daughter <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Elizabeth Price<\/span> also to my other two daughters, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Manerva<\/span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Narcissa<\/span> also to my two sons <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">H. G. Taylor Price<\/span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hiram Price<\/span> and my grandson <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Isaac Brooks<\/span> to the six last named, I give unto my sons and grandson each one horse and ___, and a ___ to the six last named equal with the others heirs.<\/p>\n<p>I also give unto the last named girls one cow and ___ to make them equal with the balance.<\/p>\n<p>I make constitute and appoint my said sons <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">George and Theopolous Price<\/span> to be my executors of my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former will made by me.<\/p>\n<p>In witness whereof I have thereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal this 18th of March 1876.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Isaac<\/span> [<span style=\"font-style: italic\">X<\/span>] <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Price<\/span> (his mark) (Seal)<\/p>\n<p>Witnesses:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">J.
